It flows, it flies, it passes, drags, zips along, and sometimes it can run out. Some people have lots of it on their hands; while others are always short of it. One can race against it, count it, waste it, or make good use of it as it parses successive stages of our lives on the way toward death. One can also spend it in the theatre, watching a play about time. An age-diverse cast of actors (young, slightly older, and a little older still) set off on a personal journey through the hourglass to describe the different ways that we experience age and to examine the subjective experience of time. This is a story about something very relatable, very ordinary and very simple, and yet astronomically complicated, not to mention final: the passage of time. About our sense of time, and the obsessions, fears and delights that time inspires. It urges us to make the most of the time we have, here and now. For theatre is, after all, a place where performers and spectators have chosen to share time together.
The performance features nudity and may be unsuitable for persons under 18 years of age.
